Curious Lights and Strange Vibrations here we burst as sound, escaped the womb that held us deeply with icy mouths and rolling tongues we stole into the streets together we found a love that's older than man, but we're so cavalier that even these wasted streets know we're dreaming curious light, will you come with me? there's an echo running backward through our bloodline and, with a word, well, you and I, we'll resonate through time would that we could have that revelation, but we're stuck somewhere in the slow vibration let's have that carnal sound we've hidden so deeply in the folds, what a strange response to an ancient melody this curious light is always following

Boneyard 04:40
Boneyard if i'm still here in several years and haven't done a thing to fix it put a gun against my head for i'll have done myself disservice, getting all worked up and nervous just to fizzle out and end observation comes too late, the present tense could never wait collapse by inaction the path is shown, the table's set, come with me or did you forget what we were sent here for? no, nothing ever really happens here so let's pretend we don't know why let's surround ourselves in sundries no, you don't need lights if the city's on fire and this one's burning down so i'll leave you right where you were found

End Part 05:44
End Part telomeres are jumping from the cliffs of our chromosomes they fall into the waves below and drift into the sea as autumn shed its summer green a demure downfall of a dream we nurtured this cathartic plan to make us feel alive but it's not working this time to all those words we were told when we were young to pacify our minds: last night i fell asleep with my arms wrapped around abstractions and together we espied the utter emptiness of sundries then i awoke with my feet so forget the verse that zephyr sings leaping off the grass, the dew clung to your shoes to move far away and to dissimilate and all the other dews do the same but some choose to return to vapor and move on their way oh, you and i, we are the same now we're transitioning, too here i awoke with my feet, so perhaps nothing was taken oh, but what absurdity if nothing was taken away are we trying to be? or just to be released? thus, you shall think of this world: a star at dawn, a bubble in a stream a flash of lightning in a summer cloud a flickering lamp, a phantom and a dream this is the end part where we realize that everything we were working for was nothing but a filling of time well i think i existed, and i think so did you so the fuck what if i'm fleeting? everybody else is, too
4.
The Drought 03:57
The Drought God knows dark skies won't be here forever some day soon the sunshine will break through I know we needed stormy weather the drought was simply far too much to live through this crippled soil could hold no root, could never bear a single fruit worth planting
5.
Highest Spot 05:21
Highest Spot i climbed up to the highest spot i reached the edge and had to stop you know that's how i do tangled in the fragile air i succumb to what i find up there that's how how i do some will shake me, some will break me down twist and shake me, bend me all around the screaming lights caught up to me to soak me in their misery you know that's what they do they put me in the darkest hole they took my body, could not take my soul that's how i do try to take me, try to shake me down bend and break me, twist me all around we shake, shake, dirt is whirling around our heads our flesh makes, makes a halo burning in the air and we will feel, despite the lack of light that you afford so we'll leave you on the farthest shore
6.
Fibers 05:36
Fibers it was a beautiful day my feet, my hands were carried away with the breeze when, finally, i glimpsed the fibers underlying everything is it better to live with our arrogance? or question expanses or time? oh, lord of all abstractions: let me never be so blind as to wallow in my comforts, when all i want is to step outside it finally occurred to me that everything's a sign embodying its meaning only to return to the divine so is it better to live with our arrogance or question expanses of time? then, diving into brevity, i found what constitutes my soul how something so abstract can patch a metaphysical hole see there's this beauty in irrationality the kind that makes you feel alive to compromise what you'd otherwise believe so let's shape the invisible dig this essence that we've found listen to the space between and slip right into the lonesome sound
